Custom CRM development in Edmonton.

Off-the-shelf CRM is built for someone else's business. We build yours around how your office and your crews actually work — and you own it outright when it ships.

Why Edmonton businesses outgrow off-the-shelf CRM

Almost every trade and clinic in Edmonton ends up running the same way: a CRM that half fits, a separate booking tool, a texting app on somebody's personal phone, a spreadsheet for job costs, and an accountant asking where the receipts went. Each tool works. None of them talk to each other, and the gaps between them are where jobs get missed and money leaks out.

The usual fix is another subscription. The better fix, once you are past a certain size, is one system shaped around your actual process — because your process is not wrong, the software just does not know about it.

What a custom CRM actually replaces

A system we build typically absorbs four to seven separate subscriptions. Instead of paying per seat, per month, forever, for tools that each hold a slice of your business, you get one place where a customer record carries everything attached to it — every quote, contract, message, photo, invoice and payment.

  • Customer and lead pipeline — where every inquiry lands, and nothing sits unworked
  • Quoting and estimating — your line items, your pricing, GST calculated correctly
  • Contracts and e-signatures — signed on the customer's phone, filed automatically
  • Scheduling and dispatch — crews get the day sheet without a phone call
  • Invoicing and online payments — cards, e-transfer, deposits, refunds
  • Two-way SMS and email — attached to the customer, not to somebody's phone
  • Job costing — what each job actually made, while it is still open

Built for how Alberta businesses run

Small details matter more than feature lists. GST at five percent, calculated and shown the way your bookkeeper expects. Alberta's ten-day contract cancellation period written into the terms. Addresses that autocomplete properly for Edmonton, St. Albert, Sherwood Park and the county. Crews working outside in January who need buttons big enough to hit with gloves on.

These are the things a CRM built in another country for another market gets subtly wrong, and they are the things your staff complain about every day.

How we build it

1. We watch how you work now

Before any code, we map what actually happens between a phone ringing and money in the bank — including the workarounds nobody documented.

2. We build the spine first

Customers, jobs and money. Once that is solid and your team is using it, everything else hangs off it without a rebuild.

3. We ship in pieces, in production

You use each part as it lands, so problems surface in weeks rather than at the end of a six-month project.

4. You own it

No per-seat licence, no monthly platform fee, no lock-in. The source code is yours. If you ever part ways with us, the system keeps running.

See one before you commit

Rather than describing it, we would rather you clicked it. There are four live demos on this site, each a full working build loaded with sample data.

In the service-industry CRM, take a booking request, build a quote, sign a contract on the customer's phone, invoice it and see what the job made. In the shop CRM, drag appointments between bays, run a punch clock, and watch customer phone numbers disappear behind a padlock the moment you switch from an admin to a technician. The dental clinic builds a treatment plan off the Alberta Fee Guide and splits the insurance estimate from the patient portion; the veterinary one runs a live treatment whiteboard for hospitalized animals. Four different trades, the same idea: one system, shaped around the work.

What comes as standard

🔐

Roles and permissions

A crew lead uploads photos but never sees what a job cost. Every change is attributable.

📱

Built for phones first

Your people are in a truck or a treatment room, not at a desk. It works there.

🧾

Real documents

Quotes, contracts, invoices and reports that look like your business, not like software output.

🔗

Connected, not siloed

Payments, texting, email and storage wired in — one system, not seven tabs.

🛡️

Hardened before launch

Prepared statements, per-action authorization, secrets out of source, nightly backups.

📈

Numbers you will actually check

Close rate, margin per job, aging receivables — on one screen, current.

Straight answers

How long does a custom CRM take to build?

The first useful version — the part your team uses daily — is usually live in weeks, not months. We build the spine first and ship in pieces, so you are getting value while the rest is still being built.

Is a custom CRM more expensive than a subscription?

It costs more up front and far less over time, because there is no per-seat monthly fee. Most businesses we work with were paying for four to seven separate tools; a custom system replaces those and then stops costing money.

Do I actually own the code?

Yes. You pay to have it built and it is yours, source code included. There is no licence to keep paying and nothing that stops working if you stop working with us.

Can it work with the software we already use?

Usually. We regularly connect card payments, text messaging, email delivery, cloud file storage and address lookup. If your accountant needs a monthly export, we build that too.

What if we are not in Edmonton?

Most of our work is Edmonton, St. Albert, Morinville, Sherwood Park and the surrounding area, because being able to sit in your office matters early on. We do work further afield when the fit is right.

What happens if something breaks at 7am?

You text us. We are a small shop, which means you are not filing a ticket into a queue — you are messaging the person who wrote the code.

Tell us what's eating your week.

We read every message ourselves and reply the same day or the next business day. No sales sequence, no discovery-call funnel — just a conversation about what you actually need.
